Child Safety Standards

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Our Commitment

Catchybara LLC ("BuffMe," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting minors and preventing the sexual exploitation and abuse of children on our platform. We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material ("CSAM") and any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors. This page describes the standards we follow and the steps we take to keep our community safe. It applies to the BuffMe.gg website and the BuffMe mobile application (collectively, the "Service").

Who Can Use BuffMe

BuffMe is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and accounts we reasonably believe belong to a child under 13 are removed immediately upon discovery. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their minor's use of the Service to ensure it is appropriate. Users confirm their age during account creation. Providing a false age is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account termination.

Zero Tolerance for CSAM and Child Exploitation

We prohibit, without exception: • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, video, audio, text, links, or AI-generated or computer-generated depictions. • Content that sexualizes minors, including stylized, cartoon, or fictional depictions. • Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to contact a minor for sexual or exploitative purposes. • Content or behavior that facilitates, promotes, or normalizes the sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of children. • Sharing, linking to, or advertising any of the above. Violations result in immediate account termination, preservation of relevant data in accordance with applicable law, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.

How to Report

Every user profile, message thread, and session in the BuffMe app includes a Report option. Users can report suspected CSAM, grooming, or any content endangering a minor directly from the app. Reports can also be sent by email to support@buffme.gg at any time. Please include as much detail as possible, including usernames, session IDs, screenshots, and the nature of the concern. Users who submit reports in good faith are protected from retaliation. Knowingly false reports are a violation of our Terms of Service.

Our Response to Reports

When we receive a report that involves a minor or suspected CSAM, we: 1. Immediately suspend the reported account pending review. 2. Preserve all associated data in accordance with applicable laws. 3. Remove the offending content and any copies we can identify. 4. Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org, and to local law enforcement where appropriate. 5. Cooperate with lawful requests from NCMEC, INHOPE, and law-enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation. We do not restore accounts terminated for CSAM or child-endangerment violations.
